McFarland Promoted at Visible Music College

Christy McFarland has been promoted vice president of business at downtown's Visible Music College. She previously worked as director of marketing and replaces Sam Garrett, who is now heading the college's nonprofit record label, Madison Line Records.

McFarland's new responsibilities include marketing and public relations for the music and worship arts college, as well as overseeing the business and operations for the school. Originally from Cabot, Arkansas, she previously served as director of public affairs at what is now Victory University. McFarland has an undergraduate degree in psychology and a master's degree in biblical studies.
